Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most famous roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace is originally from Worthington in Ohio, dropped out of high school in order to move into Los Angeles after her divorced parents. Although she was struggling financially in 2001, her debut came in the role of Rachel's Room's primary character. After earning an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her portrayal in Murder on the streets of Greenwich of a 15-year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace went on to be awarded. In 2004 Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she acted as a principal actor for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an award called the Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace has worked together with Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, was looking to go into the world of film. In 2007, she starred in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. She reprised her role for Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the main character Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played the role of Shannon in Lost, including the finale. She appeared in 2013's sixth season of Californication. She portrays Faith who is both the star-gazer and a the girl in the group. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal clan as well as the sister to Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was a teenager, she began to work as a small part-time actress for her father. She was also in Donnie Darko with her sister. Later, she was on the screen in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performance in the romantic erotic comedy Secretary (2002) as well as the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) both of which resulted in the Golden Globe Award nomination. Gyllenhaal began her professional career as a screenwriter and director in 2021. she directed and wrote the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter.
