Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress best known for her performances in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz early. Her roles included lead characters in dramas on television as young at the age of 16. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall the role she played as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this diva. Alexandra was involved in many noteworthy projects, both in the United States and internationally. These include British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon as well as other miniseries. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
